Where historic masonry opens to distant views. 🌄
The sensitive renovation of Lower Mill in Crickhowell brings together the established character of the traditional mill building and a restrained contemporary extension.
Two double-track minimal windows® systems open the ground-floor elevation across widths of 7 metres and 12.5 metres. The smaller installation combines two fixed panels with one sliding panel, while the larger comprises three fixed panels and two sliding panels. Slender aluminium profiles with sightlines of just 21 millimetres allow the glass to take visual precedence and lend a calm rhythm to the long sections of façade.
