In Part I, we built CAD geometry from scan data. Part II puts fitted primitives and CAD models to work as references for measuring, inspecting and aligning scanned parts.

Learn about:
- Measuring distances
- Distance Map and Thickness Map
- 2D Section analysis
- Datum Alignment, which simulates how a part is assembled in real life
- Precise Positioning, for reverse engineering scans with no reference data

If your work includes quality inspection of mass-produced parts, stay until the end. The session closes with third-party integration, including the option to export a mesh into an existing Control X template and get a full inspection report. A time saver for that work.
