🏗️ 25 meter-high structure
🏢 Warter Polymers hall in Płock, Poland, has been awarded Astron Building of the Month. The project, realized by Ceres Hale as General Contractor, features a production facility built with the Astron steel building system, showcasing both technical excellence and architectural integration.

Warter Polymers, one of the largest producers of polyethylene films, combines a modern machine park, a skilled workforce, and advanced R&D facilities to provide high-quality products to its customers in Poland and across Europe.

The project was designed to provide advanced space for technological processes, combining functionality with high technical standards. With its impressive height and flexible structural concept, the hall meets demanding industrial requirements while ensuring future adaptability.

In addition to the new production building, the project also involved complex modernization and re-cladding of existing Warter Polymers Sp. z o. o. building, aligning it architecturally and functionally with the newly constructed facility.

🤝 Thanks to the strong partnership between Ceres Hale as General Contractor and Astron as steel building supplier, the project successfully delivered a state-of-the-art industrial environment that meets both technological and operational demands.

🚧 New Project in Piła (Poland) for Termetal! 🚧

We’re excited to announce that Astron Buildings is partnering SEZUP Clima Sp. z o.o. on a new industrial investment for Termetal in Piła, Poland.

As the supplier of the construction, Astron is proud to contribute to this forward-looking project, designed for efficiency, durability, and speed of er****on.

The facility will feature:
🏭 A 2,500 m2 production hall with integrated office and social space
📏 Clear span: 48 meters without intermediate columns
💡 Energy-efficient solutions including LED lighting
💨 High-performance welding ventilation systems
🚧 Full external works: infrastructure, maneuvering areas, and parking

Eco-designed car park 🅿️ The Grand Angle car park in Voiron, France, is now fully operational! This eco-designed, 4-storey car park, developed by Astron Mobility, marks a major step in the city’s mission to create a greener, more pedestrian-friendly city center.

More than just a place to park, Grand Angle is part of a bigger city project as Voiron wants to make the city center greener and more welcoming. With this new building, cars will move off the streets. That gives more room to walk, bike, and enjoy city life.

🏗️ Designed for the Citizens

Designed by the architect BARBEYER and the Arcadis engineering office, the car park is built in partnerhip with local company CHANUT. Its main feature is to offer a living space combined with a pleasant user experience:

# 239 car spaces
# 1,250 m² of photovoltaic panels for energy independence
# Green facades with plants growing from the ground
# Natural lighting to reduce energy use
# Wide and easy access places
# Soft Mobility Hub

It is also in line with Voiron’s clean mobility goals:

# Secure bike storage
# A future DIY repair workshop
# A community space for bike-related info and events

🌲Architecture Inspired by Nature

The building was designed to blend into its surroundings in the extension of the park, opposite the parking area, with a Douglas wood facade inspired by nearby forests, planters and hanging greenery, a vegetable terrace and solar panel shades, bright interiors with light colors, and visual buffers to reduce glare, noise, and visual impact. It creates a calm and enjoyable area.

It allows us to reduce surface parking, plant more trees, and create a more vibrant public space. It's about redefining city life, with comfort, sustainability, and accessibility in mind.”

Steel entered space 🛰️

On May 30, 2024, steel officially entered the space age! A 3D steel printer printed its first steel component on the International Space Station—a small S-curve— from liquefied stainless steel and proved that 3D steel additive manufacturing, the process of constructing an object one layer at a time, can be done in space. 🚀

Rob Postema, ESA technical officer, is enthusiastic: “The success of this first print, along with other reference lines, leaves us ready to print full parts in the near future.” ⌛

Building a sustainable future 🌍

Buschmann Energietechnik GmbH continues to focus on growth and innovation. 💡 With the construction of a modern production and storage hall, the company is investing in a forward-looking infrastructure. The construction project was realised by the experienced hall constructor LH Lübbe Hallen-Systeme GmbH from Vechta Langförden, which is known for its efficient and high-quality hall construction concepts. 🏗️

The new hall offers state-of-the-art working conditions and optimum storage capacity. It was specially adapted to the needs of Buschmann Energietechnik and enables even more efficient implementation of innovative energy solutions. By using sustainable building materials and energy-efficient technologies, the company is also sending out a clear signal in favour of environmental awareness and resource conservation. ♻️

The high-quality LMR600 roof system, which guarantees optimum impermeability and durability, was used in the roof. Thanks to this roof panel, it was possible to cover the entire roof surface with an efficient PV system. ☀️

The construction company Lübbe, a leading specialist in hall construction, was able to successfully realise the project within the planned construction time. ‘Our mission is to support companies with flexible, economical and sustainable hall solutions. We are delighted that we were able to provide Buschmann Energietechnik with a hall that perfectly meets the requirements of their business,’ says Managing Director Werner Lübbe.

The new hall construction emphasises the continuous growth and future orientation of Buschmann Energietechnik. With its state-of-the-art infrastructure, the company will continue to supply innovative energy technology at the highest level and thus make an important contribution to sustainable energy supply.

Eco-Circular Car Park ♻️

The Innovation Campus in Bissen provides the first building in Luxembourg to be planned and constructed entirely in the spirit of the circular economy.

This first Eco-Circular Car Park features:

• 500 parking spaces for cars and 9 spaces for motorcycles, 🚗 🏍️
• 6 modular floors,
• Dimensions of 75 meters in length and 32 meters in width.

Eco-Circular Car Park Design

The structure is fully modular, allowing it to be demounted, partially or entirely, and reassembled for use as a car park or even repurposed such as an office building! This is an example of circularity—designing with a new approach that enables unlimited reuse of our planet's limited resources.

Circularity Index of 78% 🌍

This car park is a model of circular construction with a circularity index of 78%. This helps reduce waste, saves resources, and allows the building to be adapted or moved as needed. Every part of the structure is made to last and be used again. The project is already winning praise and awards, including the Trophées Bâtiments Circulaires 2024 in Paris, organized by Construction21.

Materials Registered with Madaster

The materials used in this car park are registered with Madaster, an international material database. This makes it easier to track and reuse materials in the future, supporting the circular economy and reducing waste.

This steel hall „Motorider“ in Lithuania has been elected as Astron Building of the Month for January! 🏢💡This 4,320 m² facility is an example to modern simplicity and functionality. Featuring a stylish office area alongside a repair and showroom space, it perfectly supports UAB „Motorider's“ operations in the motorcycle and quad retail and service industry. This steel building, designed for quad and motorcycle retail purposes, was erected in Lithuania. Equipped with our LMR600 roof system, the building ensures durability, energy efficiency, and a plain, customized contemporary architecture, reflecting the building owners company image.
🔧The project was designed and manufactured by Astron, with the regional Astron Builder delivering a turnkey solution that met customer requirements.
