In the wake of conflict and devastation, the city of Bucha, Ukraine, is finding ways to heal and rebuild. One of the most inspiring initiatives to emerge from this process is the Bucha Forest Classroom, a project supported by Climate KIC as part of the EIT Community New European Bauhaus (NEB).

We were the first to come into the exhibition and the last to leave👀

The Rebuild Green 2030 booth became the heartbeat of it all.

For the first time ever, had its own dedicated stand — andit instantly turned into a high-energy meeting point. Led by FIABCI-Ukraine President Alissa Bankovska and Vice President Kateryna Pylypchuk, the booth stood out because it wasn’t just showing concepts. It was presentingactual progress made during the past year.

People didn’t just stop by. They stayed. They asked. They touched. They wanted to collaborate.
Why?

Because it wasn’t theory. It was proof.

🔹The Ptahahata project by budmo.team already has a floor, walls, and roof built from Modulina’s straw panels.
🔹ABCU and Toloka showed real progress on their green reconstruction projects.

Partners came non-stop — municipalities, investors, delegations.

One of the strongest voices supporting the initiative was FIABCI World President Antonio Campagnoli, reminding everyone that rebuilding Ukraine with bio-based materials isn’t just local — it’s globally important.

Lithuania brought massive support too: high-level representatives, the Innovation Agency, and businesses ready to build in Ukraine.

Cooperation agreements with TERWIN and Urban Buro were signed on the spot.

And the best feedback of all?
People refused to leave!💛
As said:
“Everyone stopped to see the material… it was such a warm atmosphere — we were the first to arrive and the last to leave.”

Tired team? Yes.
Meaningful impact? Even more yes.

Rebuild Green 2030 isn’t an idea anymore.
It’s a platform. A coalition. A real force shaping how Ukraine’s recovery will look — greener, smarter, more resilient.
