Yes, UTE is the only authorized Caterpillar dealer in Sri Lanka since 1947. Also we have not appointed and distributors here in Sri Lanka. Therefor UTE is the only source for you to buy genuine Cat products and services. CAN UTE SERVICE ANY CAT EQUIPMENT? Yes, UTE has a highly experienced and well trained Service team capable of handling any Cat equipment. When we need any additional support we can always contact Caterpillar. So you can rely on UTE for repair, maintenance and overhaul of any Cat equipment. DOES UTE PROVIDE PRODUCT SUPPORT FOR CAT ENGINES IN SHIPS
Yes, we do sell parts and service to numerous vessels which call on Sri Lankan ports. Also some of our teams have traveled outside Sri Lanka and done major overhauls on Cat engines on ships. We have necessary experience and expertise in handling ships’ jobs. Also we have received parts orders from Ships as they arrive on Sri Lankan ports and we have promptly supplied Spare Parts on very competitive rates to them. DOES UTE PROVIDE EQUIPMENT ON RENT? Yes, We are one of the largest equipment rental companies in Sri Lanka. We have a huge fleet of Construction Machinery, Power Generators, Forklift Trucks and other Material Handling Equipment for rent. We also provide 110V Rental Power Generators for Ships. We provide these equipment on both long-term and short-term rent.
