FernHale (Pvt) Ltd was established with the vision of achieving sustainable, eco-friendly products in Sri Lanka. Our first product to reach the market is Smart Bricks, a clay hollow brick made with 100% natural resources. Smart Bricks
Our clay hollow bricks are made with long-term success in mind. Clay retains the inherent strength, durability, and economy that has made it the building material of choice over centuries. Clay bricks and roof tiles signify particularly green and sustainable building materials. These green building materials consist of natural raw materials like clay and water. Clay is a material that can be used in order to reduce our personal carbon footprint; it is harvested and produced locally, and suits the local climate, does not contain harmful chemicals or require large amounts of energy to be produced. It comes from the earth and can be re-used or returned to the earth when the life of the building is over. These are just a few of the many reasons why our clay products constitute an essential part of FernHale (pvt) Ltd, sustainable building concepts. We guarantee a high quality of living and make an active contribution to the fight against climate change. Our clay hollow bricks have the advantage of reducing construction time due to it's size (12 x 6 x 8 inches, equivalent to 9 engineering bricks) and is 40% lighter as compared to cement blocks, producing a “cooling effect” and luxurious appearance to your interiors, and giving you an opportunity of using sustainable, eco-friendly products in your constructions.
