BREAKING NEW GROUND IN SRI LANKA’S UNIVERSITIES!

We are proud to unveil our latest completed Design & Build project: the landmark Boardroom for the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Open University of Sri Lanka! 🎓✨

This was a complete Design & Build project, proudly handled from initial concept to final construction entirely by Narayana Constructions. 🏗️📐

1. A Historic Audio-Visual First in Sri Lanka 🎙️🖥️
The defining feature of this space is its revolutionary, cutting-edge Audio-Visual (AV) system. This advanced setup is exclusive to the Open University—no other university boardroom across the entire island possesses these features. It marks a historic first for high-tech academic infrastructure in the country!

2. Master Craftsmanship: The Custom Curved Teak Table 🪚✨
A room this grand required a centerpiece to match. Engineering and manufacturing large, seamless curved tables is incredibly complex and demands elite carpentry expertise. Our highly skilled team rose to the challenge, custom-building the entire curved layout using premium 1-inch solid Teak timber. The result is a stunning blend of durability, rich grain, and flawless architectural flow.

-Expanding Our Footprint at OUSL: Landmark Projects in the Making-

If you remember our previous project transforming the main entrance name board and surrounding landscape at The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL), you know how much pride we take in changing the face of premium institutions.

Today, the Narayana team is thrilled to share another milestone! We have officially handed over our latest completed project: the official name board installation at Gate No. 3 (D. M. Colombage Mawatha) for OUSL.

Returning to a site for a second major phase is the highest compliment a construction firm can receive. It proves that our commitment to strict timelines, premium material finishes, and precision ex*****on resonates with our clients.

From Student to Builder: A Proud Homecoming 🏗️🎓

In 2012, I walked through the gates of the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) as a student with big dreams and I was just a student at OUSL, studying hard and wondering what the future would hold. Today, I am honored to return as a construction partner from my own construction company to help shape the university’s future.

My company (Narayana Construction) recently completed the New Main Entrance Name Board and landscaping works—the first thing people see when they visit to the üniversitey. As an alumnus, it brings me immense pride to contribute to the beauty and identity of the place that helped build my career. Being able to build the "key feature" of my own university is a dream come true.

It’s more than just a project; it’s a tribute to where it all began.
