DMSE realigns with the new IT trends
In the light of mid 90’s realignment of the IT markets and the decline of the IBM PCM business
made DMS take stock of the situation once more. We
have had enormous success with this product line and the cumulative experience in the corporate
markets. Today DMSE is one of key partners for hp (subsequent to hp’s acquisition) of in
Sri Lanka and account for around

40% of it’s business here. At the same time efforts at diversifying
into related markets saw DMSE partnering with 3Com (now hp) and Hypercom in the
1995/96 period. This enabled the company to focus on the Data communications and the networking
markets. We also focused heavily in the Transaction processing business and now
have a commanding market share of approximately 85% covering Sri Lanka and Maldives. More importantly, we have matured into a fully fledged Systems Integrator with a broad range
of skills available within the company. An exceptional effort on service and support
Customer Service has always been one of the key pillars on which the DMS Group built its
business over the last 30 years. In DMS Electronics more than 50% of its employees work for
the Customer Engineering Department emphasizing the commitment to customer support. All
sales staff also are put through technical training and certification to ensure quality response to
customer/prospect needs.

DMS Electronics, together with PLEXUS and HPE Aruba, successfully hosted an exclusive session on Aruba ClearPass, focused on Network Access Control (NAC) for multi-vendor environments. The session provided valuable insights into secure and scalable approaches to managing network access across complex IT infrastructures.

Aruba ClearPass is built on an open, multi-vendor supported architecture, enabling seamless integration with the Aruba 360 Security Exchange ecosystem. This allows organizations to extend the value of their existing security investments while strengthening overall protection.
