Full Restoration of a 1960 Morris Minor Traveler (Woody)

Specs of the build,
Full metalwork and Body corrosion restoration work consisting of 75% of the entire metalwork being replaced and handmade brand new out of 18 & 16g sheet metal
Entirely new main chassis runners fabricated brand new out of 14g zinc coated sheet metal for increased strength and longevity
Full paint restoration work with 5 coats debeer custom mixed blue (Not the original MM blue)
Full restoration and rebuilding the 948cc A series engine with Brand new parts from UK, all other ancillary parts sourced locally through the respective dealers.
Full rebuild on the Transmission
with brand new spare parts.
Full rebuild on the Rear Axle with all brand new spare parts.
New radiator core and copper tanks, all rubber hoses replaced new in all areas of the car.
Brand new brakes & components
New brake & fuel hard lines, all flexible brake hoses and unions machined and replaced
Custom Machined spindles for the front suspension uprights to keep proper alignment and camber complete with all new bushings.
Completely new wiring with all the electrical components replaced brand new
Full interior upholstery and seat cushion works completed including removable type floor carpets
All the available Chrome parts reconditioned at best with new chromium plating
Recondition the original wheel rims, new tubeless radial Tyres fitted
Brand new Traveller wooden frame in class A “Teak hardwood” timber
Brand new exhaust piping from manifold with Japanese silencer barrel
Almost 7 months of tedious and labor intensive work, no stones left unturned in this build as myself and my crew do on all our projects
This was an absolute labor of love and we thank our respected & valued Client for entrusting us with this build, we wish him and all those who travel in this lovely vehicle a pleasant experience.
