Full Restoration of a 1960 Morris Minor Traveler (Woody)

Specs of the build,
Full metalwork and Body corrosion restoration work consisting of 75% of the entire metalwork being replaced and handmade brand new out of 18 & 16g sheet metal
Entirely new main chassis runners fabricated brand new out of 14g zinc coated sheet metal for increased strength and longevity

Full paint restoration work with 5 coats debeer custom mixed blue (Not the original MM blue)

Full restoration and rebuilding the 948cc A series engine with Brand new parts from UK, all other ancillary parts sourced locally through the respective dealers.

Full rebuild on the Transmission
with brand new spare parts.

Full rebuild on the Rear Axle with all brand new spare parts.

New radiator core and copper tanks, all rubber hoses replaced new in all areas of the car.

Brand new brakes & components
New brake & fuel hard lines, all flexible brake hoses and unions machined and replaced

Custom Machined spindles for the front suspension uprights to keep proper alignment and camber complete with all new bushings.

Completely new wiring with all the electrical components replaced brand new

Full interior upholstery and seat cushion works completed including removable type floor carpets

All the available Chrome parts reconditioned at best with new chromium plating

Recondition the original wheel rims, new tubeless radial Tyres fitted

Brand new Traveller wooden frame in class A “Teak hardwood” timber

Brand new exhaust piping from manifold with Japanese silencer barrel

Almost 7 months of tedious and labor intensive work, no stones left unturned in this build as myself and my crew do on all our projects

This was an absolute labor of love and we thank our respected & valued Client for entrusting us with this build, we wish him and all those who travel in this lovely vehicle a pleasant experience.

Interior Upgrade to a Advanced Treatment Unit for Nawaloka Hospitals (Negombo) on a brand new Toyota Hiace Standard issue Ambulance.

Specs of the Build,

-Upgrading existing flooring to a Antibacterial Antistatic theater grade flooring

-Customized brand new Rotating seats with 2 point lap belts, seats upholstered to match the interior color in Japanese vinyl

-High back nurses seat and same seat for the patient bystander, seats upholstered to match

-New seat covers to match for the front drivers and passenger seats

-Auto folding Patient stretcher with custom built locking base

-Scoop, Spinal & Folding stretchers under the locking base to save interior space

-Custom made Portable oxygen trolley

-4 Cylinder medical oxygen holder with individual outlets for medical apparatus, dedicated oxygen outlets connected to each cylinder for uninterrupted oxygen delivery
Spare cylinder located at the entrance on a separate holder

-EMT kit on a separate holding bracket

-Stainless floor plate with securing strap when required to carry the transport Incubator in vehicle

-IV pole and custom made Saline bottle holders at the required locations

-Overhead grab rails and IV hooks with adjustable saline bottle holders etc

-All the medical equipment located at easy to reach areas and dedicated power outlets to same

-2x1000W inverter units running parallel so the system can be switched into secondary unit if a equipment failure occurs midway
All 220V AC power outlets and 12V DC power outlets strategically located so connections can be made easily on the run

-Custom lighting separate from the Ambulances standard lighting equipment

-Customized medicine cabinets for drugs and consumables
Storage for bed linen and pillow
Storage under seats for light baggage at the rear seat

-Fire extinguisher on both driver and rear cabin

-Waste bins for medical and general waste

-Wash basin with 10ltr water and waste tanks, press button electric tap with towel hook

-Custom made removable type fabric Curtains for the ambulance crew for extra comfort

Ambulance conversion for Venus Hospitals Jaffna, designed and built on a Toyota factory issue KDH high roof ambulance upgraded to an Advance treatment unit

Dune 2.5m side Awning on a quick-release bracket

Custom heavy-duty zippered Canvas canopy stitched with side roll-up curtains all around

Fitting an ARB single cylinder Air Compressor with a quick-release bracket, complete with inflator and extra-long hose

Complete Restoration – Custom Class C Motorhome
Designed, built & originally owned by us – 2005 → Fully Reimagined 2026

This project began life in 2005 on a Nissan (Isuzu collaboration) 16.5ft truck chassis, purpose-built with a custom full-fiberglass walk-through body.
Today, after a complete strip-down and ground-up rebuild, she returns as a fully upgraded Class C Motorhome, redefined for modern overland comfort.
