After the civil war paused production ,his son Jean RAAD revived the business in 1994, expanding the product line and brand reach. We’ve been proudly making delicious olives and extra virgin oil since 1966. It all started with George Raad, who produced extra virgin olive oil from his own olive trees in Daher el Ein, Koura. He dreamed of sharing his oil across Lebanon, but the civil war interrupted
his plans. Fast forward to 1994, when his son, Jean Raad, revived the family business and created the Raad brand. Since then, we’ve expanded, producing all kinds of pickles, jams, molasses, olives, and olive oil—while staying true to the quality we’re known for. In 2019, we took our commitment to excellence even further by earning ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 food safety certifications. Today, you can find Raad products not only in Lebanon but also around the world.
