We are seeking an Estimator to join our team:

A.M.A l’Atelier Moderne de l’Aluminium, is an engineering and supplier of products specified to close the building envelope. They include: custom-engineered curtain wall and window wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors, skylights and architectural glass.
We seeking an Estimator to join our team ,The Estimator prepares complete and accurate cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements and applying industry financial knowledge and industry experience.
Responsibilities
• Provide detailed estimates to our customers in a timely manner. Work from specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offs
• Follow up on estimates and provide feedback concerning market pricing levels
• Achieve acceptable sales and margin levels.
• Provide consultation, coordination, and assistance to our customers, sales force and internal personnel
• Maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, correspondence and other project specific information
Qualifications:
• Diploma Degree in an Engineering related field would be beneficial.
• Ability to read, interpret, & understand specifications and take offs
• AutoCAD Basic Computer knowledge and skills required.
• Knowledge of aluminum glazing systems & their applications would be beneficial
• Strong math skills
• Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects, prioritize workload & work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to communicate effectively & conduct themselves professionally; excellent written & verbal communication skills
