ECHO is developing Elliptic Filters, especially for high frequency bands up to 20GHz. We already have good filter solutions such as Ceramic (MONO/ Discrete), LC and SIW(Substrate Integrated Waveguide), but we are expecting that the Elliptic filter will be a good solution between 8GHz and 20GHz. The Elliptic Filter not only can generate a wider passband but also have steeper roll-off characteristics than Chebyshev and SIW filters. So, it can be one of our good filter solutions according to our customer’s various needs.We can offer the surface-mount and connectorized designs in a small size and at low cost compared to cavity or waveguide filters.
