Looking for a fast, efficient way to mass-produce lightweight composites? 🚀

(Prepreg Compression Molding) is an advanced prepreg-based molding technology that enables high-volume production while achieving lightweight and high-performance characteristics. This makes it particularly valuable in the and industries.

By utilizing existing press equipment from traditional metal part production, PCM minimizes the need for additional investment. The integration of fast-cure resin systems also significantly reduces molding cycle times.

✔ Key steps in the PCM Process:

1️⃣ Cutting – Trimming prepreg sheets to the required part dimensions
2️⃣ Stacking – Layering multiple prepreg sheets to achieve the desired mechanical properties
3️⃣ Heating – Preheating the layered prepregs for the preforming stage
4️⃣ Preforming – Placing the prepreg into the preform mold to define the initial shape
5️⃣ Curing – Applying pressure through a press to finalize the component

(Prepreg Compression Molding) 공정은 프리프레그 기반의 고효율 성형 기술로, 특히 #항공 및 #자동차 부품 산업에서 경량화와 생산성 향상을 동시에 실현할 수 있습니다.

PCM 공법은 기존 금속 부품 생산에 사용되는 프레스 장비를 그대로 활용할 수 있어 추가적인 설비 투자에 대한 필요성을 최소화합니다. 또한, 속경화 수지를 적용한 프리프레그를 사용함으로써 성형 시간을 단축할 수 있습니다.

✔ PCM의 주요 공정 단계는 다음과 같습니다.

1️⃣ 절단 (Cutting) – 부품 사양에 맞춰 프리프레그 시트를 정밀하게 절단

Fast Curing Epoxy Prepreg for Mass Production of Composite Parts.

Fast Cure Resin System is a technology suitable for the mass production of mobility exterior, interior, and structural composite parts, using PCM (Prepreg Compression Molding). ⚙

Hankuk Carbon Co., Ltd. has developed fast cure resin system which reduces curing time to 1 minute compared to 90 minutes of general cycle time and also has diverse reinforcing resin systems and fast curing for high-volume production. ⏳
