Some label orders take a little more planning.

This one needs full cut, kiss cut, perforation, and numbers that change from label to label. ANY-CUT III handles them within the same digital laser finishing workflow.

Look out for the number-cutting section. The sequence advances automatically, so each number does not need its own separately prepared cutting job. It is a useful option for labels that need to be individually identified.

If you currently use rotary or flatbed die cutting, think about the orders you send out or handle in several stages. Could laser finishing help you keep more of that work in-house?

Producing specialty labels does not always have to begin with a large, high-end industrial press.

ANY-PRESS offers CMYK+White printing in a compact digital system, making it easier to handle clear, dark, metallic, kraft, and other specialty label materials.

White can be used as an underprint to keep colors clear and visible on non-white media. It can also be printed selectively as part of the label design.

We’ve wrapped up two U.S. shows, and we wanted to share more than a few booth photos.

At LOUPE Americas, visitors saw the ANY-JET II bring digital label printing and finishing together. At PRINTING United Expo, we showed the ANY-PRESS and ANY-BLADE as a print and finish combination for short-run labels and custom shapes.

Our five-card recap also looks at why efficiency matters now: print providers are handling more varied jobs while costs are rising faster than prices.
