Strong clinical practice starts with strong training.

On November 27–28, 2026, healthcare professionals will gather at HEMA (Hospital Especializado de Medicina Avanzada) in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, for a professional training program focused on Thyroid Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA).

The program will be directed by Joan Jacobo, MD, Surgical Oncologist and specialist in thyroid intervention at HEMA.

This training is designed to support continued learning, knowledge exchange, and professional development in Thyroid RFA.

STARMED kicked off TAT 2026 with an exclusive hands-on training session at Hospital Universitario Austral in Buenos Aires.

Across six stations, our KOLs worked directly with participating physicians, demonstrating Thyroid RFA techniques and sharing practical clinical experience.

The strong participation and engagement throughout the session reflects the growing interest in minimally invasive approaches to thyroid treatment.
