WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE GIVING UP, READ THIS :

1. This is a Phase.

Tough times are just a phase.
Sickness is a phase.
They don't last forever.
Life is a cycle of highs and lows.

Remember, this too shall pass.
You're in the middle of the storm now, but clear skies are ahead. Hold on.

2. You Are Stronger Than You Think.

Never underestimate your resilience.

- You've survived 100% of your bad days.
- Inside you, there is an inner strength.
- Your potential is greater than any problem.

Remember, you're stronger and more capable than you believe.

3. Small Steps Count.

Progress isn't always a leap forward.

Sometimes it's tiny, almost imperceptible steps.

Each step, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goal.

Celebrate every bit of progress. Slow and steady can still win the race. Keep moving forward.

4. Remember Your 'Why'.

Think back to the reasons why you started.

Reconnect with your motivation and your goals.

5. Failure is a Stepping Stone.

It's okay to fall but it's important to rise again.

Every setback brings learning opportunities.

Remember, every great success story involves overcoming obstacles.

Keep going. Your story is being written.

6. Practice Self-Care.

Self-care is essential, especially during tough times.

- Eat nutritious food
- Exercise regularly
- Get adequate sleep
- Connect with loved ones
- Engage in activities that bring joy.

It’s not selfish, it's survival. Your well-being matters.

7. It's Okay to Ask for Help.

Remember, you're not alone in this journey.

- Reach out to friends, family, or professionals
- Open up about your struggles
- Seek support when you need it

Strength isn't just about enduring in silence. It's also knowing when to ask for help.

To my friends and readers,

Fight for yourself. No matter how difficult it becomes, never let yourself give in.

After some time, your spark will eventually return.

You will come out happier, healthier, and wiser.

Some philosophers call it chance, some theologians call it blessings, most motivational speakers call it strategic positioning, some pentecostals call it grace, and some traditionalists call it luck.

Whatever you call it, it happens to all of us. Life is not on a straight line and things do not come to us in ways we often expect.

Jay Jay Okocha with all his skillful play never won the African footballer of the year award.

2face despite his voice and songs may never even be nominated for Grammy award not to talk of winning it.

There are people that write better than Ngugi wa Thiongo, but they may never get his opportunities and awards.

While the woman upstairs is praying to be pregnant and have atleast a baby, her neighbour downstairs is going to the hospital to see how she can stop being pregnant.

There are those born into wealth, there are those that made wealth, there are those despite all their intelligence and hard work will not taste what it means to be rich.

Those who have more get more, those who have less, even the little they have is taken away.

And here is my take: As long as you have something to offer, give your BEST into it and still carry it at the back of your mind that this life is never on a straight line.

And as you carry that in your mind, don't forget to SINCERELY do what the bible says in Roman 12:15: "Be happy with those who are happy, weep with those who weep." It is sign that you have transcended some of these worldly categories and that you are contented.

Have a blessed day friends!

Drink where the horses drink, the horse will never drink bad water.
Put your bed where the cat sleeps, it loves calm.
Whatever fruit the worm has touched but not penetrated, it is always looking for the ripe fruit.
And plant your tree where the mole digs, for that is fertile land.
Build your house where the snake sits to warm itself, for that is the stable ground that does not collapse.
Dig to find the water where the birds hide from the heat. Wherever the birds stand, the water hides.
And go to sleep and wake up at the same time with the birds - that's the quest for success.
Eat more vegetables-
You will have strong legs and a resistant heart like jungle animals.
Swim whenever you find time and you will feel like you are on land like fish in water.
Look at the sky as much as possible and your thoughts will become bright and clear.
Be calm and silent, and peace will come to your heart, and your soul will be at peace

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it.

She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed.

Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire.

Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot and ground coffee beans in the third pot. He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter.

The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing. After twenty minutes he turned off the burners.

He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup.

Turning to her, he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?”

“Potatoes, eggs and coffee,” she hastily replied.

“Look closer” he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft.

He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg.

Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.

“Father, what does this mean?” she asked.

He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity-the boiling water. However, each one reacted differently. The potato went in strong, hard and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak.

The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard.

However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.

“Which one are you?” he asked his daughter.

“When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean?

Top 10 lesson learned from book - WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T? YOU DO

1)The beauty of life is just as real as the ugliness of life. It all depends on which one you choose to see.
"You think you look strong because you can hold on, but strength lies in letting go."

2)Do at least one thing each day, make sure you recognise the progress, and be proud of yourself for doing.
Don’t ask how life is treating you; ask how you are treating life!

3)"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."

4)When you appreciate something, you don’t abuse it. Learn to appreciate all that’s life.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

5)There are two kinds of critics. One is a coward who gains his glory by attacking things he never had the courage to do. The other is courageous enough to tell you that cowards never make it. Learn to utilise both of them.
Every new moment creates new opportunities: a fresh slate offered by life. You can think what you want, feel what you want, and create what you want.

6)There never has been, and never will be an easy way of achieving something great.
It takes a simple-minded man to linger around those who are praised, yet a courageous man to pick up those who have fallen.

7)"Keep away from those who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you believe that you, too, can become great."

8)Manifesting our visions into reality is just like a puzzle. First we take a good look at a picture of the end result, hold onto it, and then set out to fit together the pieces.

9)Follow your heart, but be quiet for a while first. Ask questions, then feel the answer. Learn to trust your heart."

10)Appreciation is the key to letting your spirit take over your life. By adding such a simple ritual to your daily life,

A woman was once asked:
What do you "gain" from praying to God regularly?

She replied:
Usually ′′ I don't earn anything ", but rather ′′ I lose things ".
And she quoted everything she lost praying to God regularly:
I lost my pride.
I lost my arrogance.
I lost greed.
I lost my urge.
I lost ′′ my ′′ anger.
I lost the lust.
I lost the pleasure of lying.
I lost the taste of sin.
I lost impatience, despair, and
discouragement.

Sometimes we pray, not to gain something, but to lose things that don't allow us to grow spiritually.

Prayer educates, strengthens, and heals.

Prayer is the channel that connects us directly to God."
