🌱 MOST FARMERS DON’T HAVE A YIELD PROBLEM…
They have a plant nutrition timing problem.
A crop can have:
✔ Good rainfall
✔ Good seed
✔ Good soil
…yet still produce disappointing results because the plant lacks the right nutrients at the right stage.
We see this a lot in Kenyan farms:
Maize that grows tall but fills poorly
Coffee with excessive flower drop
Tomatoes with weak fruit formation
Potatoes with uneven tuber sizing
Capsicum and beans aborting flowers
Yellowing leaves despite fertilizer application
Why?
Because feeding the soil alone is not always enough.
The plant itself also needs direct nutritional support during critical stages of growth.
That’s where foliar nutrition becomes important.
🌿 A healthy crop should:
✅ Maintain strong green leaves
✅ Flower uniformly
✅ Reduce stress during harsh weather
✅ Hold fruits better
✅ Recover faster after disease pressure or heavy rains
At Biovitam, we believe modern farming is not just about applying fertilizer…
It’s about understanding what the crop is demanding at each stage.
Before adding more chemicals blindly, first ask:
👉 “What is my crop lacking right now?”
Farm smarter. Feed intentionally. Grow healthier crops.
