Proper e-waste management begins with accessible collection points, and e-waste collection bins play a critical role in making responsible disposal simple, safe, and effective. By providing dedicated collection points for obsolete and end-of-life electronics, these bins help prevent improper disposal, protect the environment and ensure valuable materials are recovered through environmentally sound recycling.
As part of its mission to advance sustainable e-waste management in Kenya, the WEEE Centre continues to partner with institutions to strengthen collection infrastructure and promote a circular electronics economy. Our Manager, Joyce, recently handed over e-waste collection bins to the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), further strengthening our shared commitment to responsible electronics stewardship.
Together, we are creating practical solutions that encourage responsible disposal, increase collection rates and move Kenya closer to a cleaner, greener future.
Do you have obsolete laptops, phones, printers, batteries, or other electronic devices? Don’t throw them away. Dispose of them responsibly at designated WEEE Centre collection points and be part of the circular economy.
Let’s work together to turn e-waste into opportunity and protect our environment for future generations.
