Cold Spark Machine Safety: What You Need to Know
Cold spark machines look magical, but they are not risk-free. ✨

Inside the machine, a titanium mixture is heated and ignited, producing flames that can reach around 60 to 70 degrees Celsius. If those flames are continuously directed at flammable materials, there is a real fire hazard.

This does not mean you should never use them. It means you should use them correctly:

Keep a safe distance from curtains, decorations, and paper

Never aim the spark effect directly at flammable materials for long periods

Use fire-resistant materials on stage

Keep a fire extinguisher nearby

Follow local fire safety rules

Only let trained operators handle the machine
