What is your gearbox suffering from?
1.Hesitation-This is is typically experienced as a delay between when a gear is selected and when the car starts to move.
2.Failure to select gear-This can be caused by low fluid levels,but also by sticking or defective shift solenoids.
3.Harsh gearshifts-This is most commonly caused by a failure of the control system to modulate the torque converter look up clutch,which is designed to slip somewhat when gearshift are performed under aggressive driving conditions.
4.Engine stalls at low speeds-The most common cause of this is a failure of the torque converter clutch to disengage at low speeds.
5.Transmission overheats-This can happen if thr transmission fluid level is too high or too low ,but also when towing loads exceed the transmissions rated capacity.
