We are living in very interesting times.

A child is 9 years old but already has “attitude,” relationship advice, heartbreak quotes, and a TikTok personality stronger than the electricity in some estates.

Everybody is influencing everybody.
Nobody even knows who started the trend anymore.

Some people dress like they are going for a fashion competition with confusion itself.
Others still believe decency, simplicity, and self-respect are not signs of being outdated.

Some conversations today are just:
insults, shouting, pride, “who are you?”, and unnecessary aggression.
Meanwhile others still speak with humility, wisdom, manners, and basic human respect — now treated like rare technology.

Some people cannot sit quietly for 5 minutes without checking notifications, validation, gossip, trends, celebrity drama, or who unfollowed who.
Others are quietly building businesses, learning skills, praying, healing, working, and trying to become responsible human beings.

Nowadays bad behavior gets called “confidence.”
Disrespect gets called “being real.”
Addiction gets called “soft life.”
Immaturity gets called “living freely.”

Meanwhile discipline looks boring.
Good character looks old-fashioned.
Humility looks weak.
And wisdom gets ignored because it doesn’t trend.

Children are now growing up faster than their own childhood.
A 12-year-old already talks like a relationship podcast host.
Everybody wants to look grown before actually growing.

This generation is heavily shaped by what society keeps normalizing.
Culture spreads fast.
Behavior copies itself.
Influence is powerful.

But honestly, not everything popular is healthy.
Not everything modern is wise.
And not everybody following the crowd actually knows where the crowd is going.

In a noisy world full of pressure, trends, and performance, being disciplined, humble, respectful, responsible, wise, and genuine has quietly become rebellious.

We are becoming a society that speaks less, but communicates even less meaningfully.

Not because we have nothing to say—
but because we have forgotten how to see each other as human.

Somewhere along the way, words like “sorry,” “excuse me,” “thank you,” “please,” “good morning” stopped feeling necessary. Not loud enough to defend, not important enough to keep.

And in their silence… something else grew louder.

Coldness.

You see it everywhere now.

A person bumps into you and walks away like you are air.
No glance. No pause. No “my bad.”
Just pride wrapped in hurry.

A message is sent and left on read—not because there is no time to reply, but because empathy is no longer urgent.

We have mastered connection through screens,
but forgotten connection through presence.

We sit in the same room with people we love…
and still choose phones over faces.

We scroll through thousands of lives
while slowly losing touch with the one sitting next to us.

And we call it “normal.”

But tell me…
when did ignoring people become confidence?
When did silence become superiority?
When did basic respect become optional?

We no longer say “thank you” because we feel entitled.
We no longer say “sorry” because we never feel wrong.
We no longer say “good morning” because we no longer see mornings as shared blessings.

And slowly… we are raising a generation that can type faster than they can feel.

A generation fluent in emojis,
but illiterate in empathy.

Let’s be honest—
manners were never just manners.

They were proof that you recognize someone else exists.

“Excuse me” was never just a phrase—
it was humility in motion.

“Thank you” was never just politeness—
it was acknowledgment that you did not get here alone.

“Sorry” was never weakness—
it was maturity taking responsibility.

But now?

We call politeness “soft.”
We call respect “old school.”
We call kindness “naive.”

And we celebrate arrogance like it is ambition.

Yet behind all this noise…
there is a quiet decay happening.

People feel unseen.
Unheard.
Unvalued.

Everyone is talking, but no one is listening.
Everyone is present, but no one is there.

‎This generation can spend 3 hours choosing a profile picture…
‎but cannot spend 30 minutes choosing a direction for their life.

‎We have people with “CEO mindset 💯🔥” bios waking up at 10am wondering why life is not changing.

‎Some people’s greatest daily achievement is surviving on 2% battery for six hours.

‎We are becoming spiritually malnourished but aesthetically hydrated.
‎Face glowing.
‎Mind empty.
‎Ring light bright.
‎Future dim.

‎This generation can detect fake designer shoes from 200 meters away,
‎but cannot detect fake friends, fake lifestyles, fake advice, or fake purpose.

‎People are building online personalities like showroom houses.
‎Everything looks luxurious… until you actually try living inside it.

‎Some people have motivational quotes for every situation except getting out of bed.

‎We are chasing validation like hungry chickens chasing breadcrumbs.
‎One like = happiness.
‎One compliment = confidence.
‎One unfollow = emotional damage.

‎Someone posts:
‎“Nobody can stop me this year 💯🔥”
‎then spends the next 5 hours watching football highlights, celebrity gossip, conspiracy videos, and “Top 10 Richest Dogs in the World.”

‎Many are no longer building character.
‎We are building highlight reels.

‎A person can spend:
‎Ksh 4,000 on sneakers,
‎Ksh 2,500 on lunch,
‎Ksh 1,800 on bundles…

‎…but investing in books, discipline, or learning a skill is suddenly “too expensive.”

‎We have become professional consumers.
‎Consume reels.
‎Consume gossip.
‎Consume trends.
‎Consume vibes.
‎Consume motivation.
‎Consume podcasts.

‎But ask people to produce consistency, patience, discipline, or responsibility… suddenly the network disappears.

‎This generation wants:
‎Abs without exercise.
‎Money without work.
‎Wisdom without reading.
‎Marriage without maturity.
‎Success without sacrifice.
‎Anointing without prayer.

‎Everybody wants to “escape the matrix”
‎but cannot escape their bedsheets in the morning.

‎Some people are not tired from hard work.
‎They are tired from scrolling.
‎Mental exhaustion from doing absolutely nothing all day.

‎We laugh at our grandparents for not understanding smartphones…
‎meanwhile we cannot sit quietly for 10 minutes without touching ours like it is life support equipment.

‎Ego has become everybody’s bodyguard.
‎Nobody can apologize anymore.
‎Nobody accepts correction.
‎Everybody is a “chosen one.”

‎Even the guy who has failed the same exam four times is tweeting:
‎“They hate me because I’m different.”

‎No brother.
‎They are worried about you.

‎This generation is becoming like microwave noodles:
‎fast, hot, attractive… and lacking substance.

‎Real character is slow-cooked.
‎Discipline is boring.
‎Growth is repetitive.
‎Purpose takes time.

‎But many want overnight success from a lifestyle powered by naps, vibes, and motivational TikToks.

‎Walk around Nairobi early in the morning and look at people’s faces carefully.

‎You would think the whole city is recovering from a hangover.

‎But most are not drunk.

‎They are exhausted.

‎That tired face in the matatu. Those red eyes on the boda boda. That guy yawning before the workday has even started.

‎Most of them never touched alcohol.

‎They just spent the whole night scrolling.

‎Midnight became 1am. 1am became 2. Then suddenly it is 3am and they are still watching videos they will never remember next week.

‎We have normalized unhealthy attachment to phones.

‎Every month there is a new obsession. New phone. New trend. New app. New distraction.

‎Buy whatever phone you can afford. That is not the problem.

‎The problem is when the phone starts controlling your life more than you control it.

‎Your body is begging for rest. Your mind is overloaded. Your eyes are burning. But you keep scrolling like there is something important waiting at the bottom.

‎There is not.

‎Compare yourself to who you were 10 or 15 years ago.
‎Same body. Same brain. But now your mind is constantly tired.

‎Why?

‎Because your brain never gets silence anymore.

‎Every evening is noise. TikTok. Instagram. WhatsApp. Videos. Memes. Arguments. Bad news. Endless comparison.

‎You sleep at 3am. Wake up at 6. Then spend the whole day wondering why you feel angry, unmotivated, distracted, and mentally drained.

‎Some even wake up at 10, 11am.
‎Laziness.

‎The funny part, they sleep with their phone, and wake up with it.

‎And the saddest part?
‎Even during lunch break, instead of resting your mind, you scroll again.

‎The cycle continues.

‎Slowly damaging your focus. Your peace. Your health. Your relationships. Your productivity.

‎Tonight, try something simple.
‎Leave the phone outside the bedroom.
‎Charge it in the sitting room.

‎Lie down without notifications. Without videos. Without noise.

‎Give your brain real rest.
‎Then wake up tomorrow and notice the difference.

‎You probably do not need another phone upgrade.

‎You need sleep.

‎Atoxophobia.

‎The fear that something isn’t safe…

‎It starts as caution—
‎But can turn into control.

‎👉 Wisdom brings order.
‎👉 Fear brings confusion.

‎Live disciplined, not anxious.

‎“Cleanliness is next to Godliness” —
‎Not fear… self-control.

‎🔥 Be aware, not afraid.

‎Atoxophobia.

‎Not a common word—but a very real struggle.
‎The fear of poison. The fear that something, somewhere, is not safe.

‎It doesn’t always look extreme.
‎Sometimes it shows up as overthinking…
‎Constant checking…
‎A quiet uneasiness that refuses to leave.

‎What starts as caution can slowly turn into control.
‎And instead of living wisely, you find yourself living fearfully.

‎But here’s the truth:
‎👉 Wisdom brings order.
‎👉 Fear brings confusion.

‎We are meant to live organized, disciplined, and clear-minded lives—not ones ruled by “what if.”

‎Train your mind.
‎Build structure.
‎Choose understanding over anxiety.

‎📌 As it is often said, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”—
‎Not out of fear… but out of intentional living and self-control.

‎🔥 Be aware—but not afraid.
‎🔥 Be disciplined—not disturbed.
‎🔥 Be in control—not consumed.

‎🚨 STOP GETTING SCAMMED IN THE NAME OF “ONLINE TRADING” 🚨

‎Let’s be honest…
‎Some of us are not investing.
‎We are FUNDING scammers.

‎If someone tells you:
‎❌ “Guaranteed profits”
‎❌ “I’ll trade for you”
‎❌ “Send money, I double it”

‎That is not trading.
‎That is theft with good English.

‎📉 Real trading is:
‎✔️ Risky
‎✔️ Requires skill
‎✔️ Takes time to learn
‎✔️ Has losses

‎No legit trader is in your DMs begging you to send money.
‎No real platform needs you to “activate profits” by paying more fees.

‎💀 Let’s be real:
‎Sending money to a “trader” is not investment…
‎It’s donation.

‎They show you screenshots of profits…
‎But where are the withdrawals?
‎Some may even cook withdrawals!

‎⚠️ WAKE UP:
‎If you can’t control your account…
‎If you don’t understand how the money is made…
‎If you are being rushed…

‎You are already in danger.

‎💡 Truth:
‎You don’t need an “account manager.”
‎You need knowledge.

‎Learn. Practice. Grow slowly.
‎That’s how real money is made.

‎🔥 Don’t let "quick money" make you regret.
‎Protect your money. Protect your future.

‎Standards are falling… don’t fall with them.

‎In a world where wrong is slowly being repackaged as normal, it’s easy to drift without even noticing. What used to be called immorality is now called freedom. What once required conviction now gets applause. The pressure to fit in is louder than the call to stand firm.

‎But not everything that is accepted is right.

‎When standards fall, it doesn’t mean truth has changed—it only means people have. Values don’t lose meaning just because they are ignored. Discipline doesn’t lose power just because it’s rare.

‎You weren’t created to move with every trend. You were built to stand—with purpose, with conviction, and with boundaries.

‎Because the truth is: It takes no strength to follow the crowd… but it takes character to stand alone.

‎So when standards fall—
‎Don’t adjust. Don’t blend in. Don’t compromise.

‎Stand taller. Stand wiser. Stand different. 🔥

‎🔥 PAUSE… READ THIS LIKE YOUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON IT. 🔥

‎This is not just a message…
‎it’s a mirror.

‎There were young people… just like our age groups.

‎They loved God 🙏
‎They had dreams ✨
‎They had a future ahead of them 🎯

‎But slowly… things began to change.

‎Not suddenly. Not loudly.
‎But quietly.

‎It started with small things…
‎A “harmless” relationship 💔
‎A little compromise ⚠️
‎The wrong company 👥
‎Late nights, wrong content 📱🔒
‎Curiosity that led to hidden habits…

‎And before long—
‎what felt normal…
‎became a struggle. ⛓️

‎🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹

‎⚠️ One day they realized:

‎👉 “What we entertained… is now controlling us.”

‎The pleasure was temporary 😔
‎But the consequences were real.

‎Peace was gone 🕊️❌
‎Focus was lost 🎯❌
‎Purpose felt distant 🌫️

‎🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹

‎But here’s the turning point…

‎They chose to wake up ⏰

‎👉 “Enough is enough.”

‎They walked away from wrong relationships 🚶‍♂️
‎Cut off bad company ✂️👥
‎Stepped away from harmful habits ❌
‎Guarded their eyes and mind 👀🧠🛡️
‎And returned to God sincerely 🙏🔥

‎🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹

‎🌿 Slowly… things changed.

‎Strength came back 💪
‎Clarity returned 🧠✨
‎Peace was restored 🕊️
‎Purpose became clear again 🎯

‎🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹

‎🔥 THE LESSON:

‎👉 Not everything that feels good is good. Not every good is right. As St Paul says, "Not everything is beneficial."
‎👉 What you entertain today can control you tomorrow.

‎📖 “Flee youthful lusts…” (2 Timothy 2:22) ✝️

‎👉 Some battles are not fought… they are escaped. 🏃‍♂️💨

‎🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹

‎🔥 FINAL WORD:

‎👉 It’s not too late.

‎Choose discipline.
‎Choose purity.
‎Choose your future.

‎DISCIPLINE TODAY = DESTINY TOMORROW 🚀🔥
