We are living in very interesting times.
A child is 9 years old but already has “attitude,” relationship advice, heartbreak quotes, and a TikTok personality stronger than the electricity in some estates.
Everybody is influencing everybody.
Nobody even knows who started the trend anymore.
Some people dress like they are going for a fashion competition with confusion itself.
Others still believe decency, simplicity, and self-respect are not signs of being outdated.
Some conversations today are just:
insults, shouting, pride, “who are you?”, and unnecessary aggression.
Meanwhile others still speak with humility, wisdom, manners, and basic human respect — now treated like rare technology.
Some people cannot sit quietly for 5 minutes without checking notifications, validation, gossip, trends, celebrity drama, or who unfollowed who.
Others are quietly building businesses, learning skills, praying, healing, working, and trying to become responsible human beings.
Nowadays bad behavior gets called “confidence.”
Disrespect gets called “being real.”
Addiction gets called “soft life.”
Immaturity gets called “living freely.”
Meanwhile discipline looks boring.
Good character looks old-fashioned.
Humility looks weak.
And wisdom gets ignored because it doesn’t trend.
Children are now growing up faster than their own childhood.
A 12-year-old already talks like a relationship podcast host.
Everybody wants to look grown before actually growing.
This generation is heavily shaped by what society keeps normalizing.
Culture spreads fast.
Behavior copies itself.
Influence is powerful.
But honestly, not everything popular is healthy.
Not everything modern is wise.
And not everybody following the crowd actually knows where the crowd is going.
In a noisy world full of pressure, trends, and performance, being disciplined, humble, respectful, responsible, wise, and genuine has quietly become rebellious.
