THE NDUME NDOGO AIR SEEDER:
BUILT TO LAST The Seeder that is easy to set up, easy to use and easy to maintain. The Ndume Air seeder has none of the complex parts normally associated with conventional box drills e.g. no gears, no clutches, no discs. The Ndume Air Seeder has one metering unit for seed, and one for fertilizer. Metering units are the fluted roller type made of steel that run on sealed ball bearings. They do not wear out or break. Distribution of seed and fertilizer is done by air supplied by a PTO driven fan. Seeds and fertilizer is put into the ground behind spring-loaded Suffolk coulters. Depth control is done by two depth control wheels. Simply move the wheels up to increase depth, or down to decrease depth. Covering of seed is done by a double chain at the rear of the machine. The Suffolk coulter knife point is a replaceable item – simply undo one bolt and slide it out of the tube. Metering units drive is taken off one of the wheels. When you lift the unit out of work the drive wheel lifts off the tyre and drive to the metering units stops. The drive wheel is spring loaded and does not slip on the tyre.
