Riding in the Heat of Summer!
Wow—it’s really starting to heat up out there!
You might be thinking, “It’s way too hot to ride a motorcycle in this weather!”
But hey, don’t give up on summer riding just yet—I actually want to encourage you to get out there, even in the heat.
Why?
Well, to be honest… last summer was so hot that our engine machining work dropped off quite a bit.
From August through mid-October, the heat was just brutal.
It’s tough to ride in that kind of weather, and even tougher to feel like wrenching on your bike in a sweltering garage. And let’s face it—most home garages don’t come with A/C.
But personally, I ride year-round—rain or shine, winter or summer.
If you’re smart about when and where you go, you can absolutely enjoy riding in any season.
Honestly, it’s just the blazing midday sun that’s unbearable.
If you avoid those peak hours, summer mornings and evenings can be incredibly pleasant.
It would be such a waste to miss out on that!
So I’ll be sharing more about how to enjoy summer riding—even in the heat.
Because let’s be real: if it gets too hot and everyone stops riding, we in the engine business start to suffer! 😅
Here’s hoping more riders out there get to enjoy those perfect summer moments on two wheels.
