We will have Golden Week!!
GoldenWeek is a collection of public holidays on the Japanese calendar. This year starts from 29th April (Sat) most likely through 7th May (Sun).

**April 29th (Sat) is "Showa Day" (昭和の日) During Showa Era, the day had been celebrated one of the National holidays as a birthday of a last emperor. After Showa Era, we decided to keep the day as another national holiday.
**May 3rd (Wed) is "Constitution Day" (憲法記念日) On May 3rd, 1947, the current Constitution of Japan came into effect.
**May 4th (Thu) is "Greenery Day" (みどりの日) The name “Greenery Day” was chosen to commemorate the Emperor Showa, who had profound knowledge of biology and botany and was interested in preserving the environment.
**May 5th (Fri) is Children’s Day (こどもの日) The another name of "Children's day" is "Boy's festival". "Children's day" based on "the day for the prevention of cruelty to children" was established in 1948.Boy's parents display "colorful carp banners" or "helmet, Samurai armor" to celebrate and hope that children will grow up with courage and wisdom.
And We will have a Friendship Day. Hope we all can have fun!!♪

Yamaguchi Car will be closed as well.

Labor Thanksgiving Day (November 23)

Labor Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday when Japanese people show their gratitude for each other for their labor and celebrate the year’s production. Labor Thanksgiving Day originates from a ceremony named shinjosai or niinamesai. This ceremony is held at the Imperial Court for the Emperor to offer new rice to the gods of heaven and earth. The Emperor also eats the new rice at the ceremony. This ceremony was held on the day of u in ancient times when the lunar calendar was used, and has been performed on November 23rd since 1873. The feast day for people to give their thanks for the rice production and celebrate the rice crop of the year is now Labor Thanksgiving Day. Rice is the main staple of the Japanese diet, and so the labor to produce rice can represent many different kinds of labor in Japan.
