"よかったら"と旅のお客様から、古文書の複写を手渡されました。
地元の歴史のサークルで読み解いた文を‥‥と徳島であった出来事を教えてくれました。
嘉永年間(江戸末)〜
福山から四国へお遍路に出かけた旅団のうち、長十の妻"かね"さん。
途中、徳島で具合を悪くし病死してしまいました。
徳島での療養、葬儀の御礼として保命酒、菓子料、お布施を贈る
という内容だそうです。
お遍路途中、遠く徳島の地で療養、葬儀まで村人にお世話になりました。
お客様は
"ずっと気になっていた‥ "保命酒"に今日、出会えました"
と保命酒を手に、お顔は輝いていました。
