Nanakusa-gayu (rice porridge with seven harbs)
Traditionally, we eat nanakusa-gayu on January 7th to pray for good health in the coming year and to give our stomachs a rest after all the rich food and drinks of the New Year celebrations.
Our company president treated us to it today. To be honest, I didn’t like nanakusa-gayu before, but I really liked his—it was delicious.
Wishing wellbeing for everyone!
