Some sunsets are pretty… and then there are the ones that make you stop what you’re doing and just watch.

This is one of the main reasons we dreamed about having a little piece of ocean of our own. ❤️

Update on Sophie!! ❤️🐾
Sophie is doing better in the car, but she still won’t lie down or sit for any length of time. We’re trying to keep car rides to a minimum and only take her where we have to, so her stress stays as low as possible.
She still absolutely loves the bunkie and the land. ❤️🌊
She’s a little peeved with me, though, because we bought her a GPS collar. 😂 The last time she made her great escape, she went miles down the beach chasing a rabbit or squirrel, and it took us hours to find her. So, as much as she wasn’t impressed with her new accessory, we’re hoping it will give us a little peace of mind. 🐾
She’s getting used to it now and doesn’t venture too far from the cleared part of our land. 🌊❤️
She is always around ready to welcome whoever is visiting or napping in the bunkie or lying in the dirt watching everyone work. 😂
She really is living her best life at Sunset Cove. ❤️🐾🌊

Watching this land change is something I’ll never get tired of. ❤️
From clearing trees to building the road, prepping the pad, and now filling in the land… there’s so much that goes into building a home that you never really think about until you’re doing it yourself.
One more step toward Sunset Cove. 🌊🏡

All of my friends and family loves it here…how can you not…the warm wind, the crashing waves and the sun shining down on all this beauty…. it’s heaven on earth 🌊💨
