Tropical Battery Company Limited is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Facilities Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance and upkeep of the Company's facilities, grounds, fleet, and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Company's premises remain clean, safe, functional, and professionally maintained.
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
Maintain lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, and external grounds through grass cutting, trimming, pruning, and general upkeep.
Clean and maintain parking lots, walkways, loading bays, building exteriors, and other external areas to a high standard.
Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general handyman repairs.
Wash and clean Company trucks, motor vehicles, and maintenance equipment, and ensure tools are properly maintained and stored.
Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds, report maintenance issues and hazards, maintain drainage systems, and support hurricane preparedness and post-storm clean-up activities.
Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies, support Company events, and perform other related duties as assigned.
《Qualifications & Experience》
Secondary school education or equivalent.
Previous experience in facilities maintenance, grounds maintenance, landscaping, construction, janitorial services, or a similar role would be an asset.
Basic handyman skills, including simple plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions.
Reliable, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision.
