In many civil construction projects, planners propose a metal roof. There are no technical drawbacks in terms of aesthetics, on the contrary, just consider that they are lightweight: a metal roof can weigh less than two-thirds of a tiled roof. By choosing the most suitable metal – and protected by appropriate treatments – it has a service life of several decades, with no need for maintenance.
“But who knows how noisy...!”: this is the initial reaction when considering a metal roof. The planner's solution is K-ROOF by TeMa, the range of spacing mats made of synthetic monofilaments that reduce impact noise from rain and hail, improving living comfort.
TeMa's K-Roof - for use on standing seam metal roofs and walls - is an underlay that also offers excellent sound absorption performance.
