🌺 Aloha from our Summer Party!

Last Friday, Hawaiian vibes took over Oerlikon HRSflow as we came together for our annual summer celebration.
The evening was filled with fun and vibrant energy — from delicious street food trucks and colorful outfits to dancing to the live music of Exes Official and friendly competitions in the “surfing” zone.

It was the perfect way to celebrate important milestones, connect, and reflect on how far we’ve come — a reminder that while work matters, taking time to celebrate it matters too.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Gewerbliche School in Ehingen, Germany.

It was great to reconnect with Mr. Winkow and his students and to share our latest innovations in hot runner technology. After a brief overview of our company and solutions by our Technical Department, they enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at our facility—from manufacturing and industrialization to a hands-on try-out in our R&D Test Lab.

Beyond the technology, this visit reminded us of the power of cultural exchange in education: it enhances learning, fosters curiosity, and prepares students for effective participation in a multicultural society by helping them appreciate different perspectives.

At Oerlikon HRSflow, we are proud to support initiatives that truly warm the heart. For over 10 years, we’ve been committed to FARCELA, an inspiring inclusion project promoted by i Bambini delle Fate This association has been leading impactful initiatives for young people with neurodiversity, thanks to the support of companies, businesses, and private citizens.

Based in Castelfranco Veneto (Treviso, Italy), FARCELA is driven by a passionate team of professionals and volunteers. Their mission? To support, connect, and empower young people with autism and other disabilities, helping them build independence and improve communication skills through activities like swimming, basketball, theatre, riding therapy, and more.

A few months ago, "I Bambini delle Fate" presented its work at the European Parliament, showcasing an innovative and inspiring approach to social inclusion.

📢È in corso la prima edizione della nostra Academy dedicata alla formazione di Operatori Macchine CNC 4.0, un ruolo fondamentale in azienda che richiede solide competenze tecniche.

Il percorso, della durata di 4 mesi, combina lezioni in aula su disegno tecnico, programmazione CNC e lavorazioni meccaniche con laboratori pratici nei reparti di assemblaggio, qualità e tornitura.

Grazie al supporto di tutor aziendali esperti, i partecipanti stanno acquisendo conoscenze teoriche e pratiche che potranno applicare direttamente su progetti reali al termine della formazione.

Ringraziamo tutti i colleghi che hanno dedicato il loro tempo per trasmettere con passione e dedizione il loro know-how: dall’ufficio tecnico ai reparti di assemblaggio, dall’ufficio qualità all’ufficio industrializzazione, fino al reparto torni.

Team building isn’t just fun. It’s essential for fostering strong, trusting relationships and a culture of respect.

Recently, our CAM and Industrialization teams took on an exciting orienteering challenge in beautiful Venice!

Through engaging activities, we strengthened our communication, deepened trust, and learned how to handle “crisis moments” with creative solutions. This experience not only revealed our team’s strengths but also highlighted areas for growth.

This special day proved that learning can be fun, and that even small changes can lead to significant improvements in our daily projects.

Here’s to more laughter and continued progress!

📢 New beginnings for Oerlikon HRSflow Germany!

Starting at the turn of 2024/25, Raphael Binder will assume operational responsibility for Oerlikon HRSflow GmbH in Raunheim, Germany, succeeding Stephan Berz, who will now focus on strategic initiatives within the Oerlikon HRSflow management team in San Polo di Piave, Italy.

Binder shares his vision: “I see our traditional area of application in the automotive industry as one of the focal points of my work in the future. There, for example, the possibilities for the use of our cascade technology and the utilisation of cost-saving family tools are far from exhausted. In the D-A-CH region in particular, there is also a highly interesting field of development in packaging and medical technology. MULTIflow HRS offers a wide range of technological and economic advances here, which I would like to open up to a growing number of users together with my team.”
