Expressive E Osmose CE: the new frontier in MPE control 🎛️

At Roma Modulare 2026, Enrico Cosimi will explore the expressive potential of the new Expressive E Osmose CE, combining Expressive E’s acclaimed keybed technology with Ctrl-e, a new sound ecosystem designed for expressive playing.

With MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression), Osmose CE unlocks true per-note expression, bringing unprecedented nuance and control to performance. The instrument is also designed to make expressive playing more accessible across the plugins, software instruments, and hardware musicians already use every day.

During the workshop, Enrico Cosimi will demonstrate the features and expressive capabilities of Osmose CE, including its interaction with the Melbourne Instruments Nina synthesizer, exploring new possibilities for performance, sound shaping, and musical expression.

At Roma Modulare 2026, Enrico Cosimi takes the audience on a journey through the latest addition to the Moog family of synthesisers: Moog Messenger.

Designed for electronic musicians, producers, sound designers, sonic tinkerers, and analog dreamers, Moog Messenger is a compact monophonic analog keyboard synthesizer created to open new portals of artistic expression through sound.

During this workshop, Enrico Cosimi will explore the instrument’s approach to synthesis and its potential for both studio production and live performance, showing how Moog Messenger can become a creative companion across musical genres and at every stage of the synthesis journey.
