Lifetime warranty is no joke.
This 13 years old Braingasm came in for a loose screw and got fixed in 10 secs at no charge for my customer. Still in great shape and perfectly working, dated back 2012 when I used to etch the circuit boards.

Back when you had the right to repair your stuff, available spare parts, schematics, service manual and the will for an object to last more than its user.
The AKG C414B-ULS is a true masterpiece of audio electronics, and a real pain in the to service. A 14 transistor transformer coupled microphone squeezed in an insane tiny space.
But thanks to the provided documentation it's back to life and ready to serve the music for another 30 years.

Finally I can share the most exciting work of all my life as a sound engineer. Recording Bonovox concert at the San Carlo Theater in Naples, as a part of "Stories of Surrender" docufilm, out today on Apple's platform.
My endless thanks to and Giuseppe Innaro to be the best partners I have ever worked with, together with Daniele and all the local production team.
We handled more than 140 audio tracks simultaneously on 3 synched desks, live mix for cinema troupe, SMPTE Sync, Dante uber-redundant recording, daily deliveries and a few hours of sleep per day, for one week.

Repost • Today Adam and I are taking a break from fixing things to record some sound clips. Up for test we have our Berzerker and active BM9, alongside a couple of refurbished Film Industries ribbon mics with Actifiers, and a Ocula omni mic.

Those of you who know us will also know that we like making gadgets, and we made an alternative top cap for the BM9 which can hold another microphone like the Ocula. Adam calls this the OmniTop which sums it up nicely. You could screw on a mic clip or even a second BM9.

We are now selling the excellent and sensibly priced Ocula mics in the UK through the Extinct website. We will post sound clips very soon!
