The Space Koala tested our SESTO SENSO 3 SC focusing motor against our ESATTO 2" LP low profile focuser on her Celestron EdgeHD 8" — and shared the results!

SESTO SENSO 3 SC motorizes the native internal focuser of the EdgeHD, for a simple, non-invasive, and affordable solution.

ESATTO 2" LP replaces the internal focuser with a complete motorized focuser, allowing you to lock the primary mirror and eliminating mirror shift.

Which one performs better for ? Watch the comparison to find out:

Hello ! We just had an incredible time at NEAF 2026, the world's most important and expo! In this video, Filippo Bradaschia and Thomas Bramwell walk you through everything we presented at the PrimaLuceLab booth, and there were some big surprises!

We show you the takahashiamerica dual telescope rig, fully modified with ESATTO focusers, ARCO rotators and EAGLE computer. We worked directly with the Takahashi factory to design the perfect adapter for the Epsilon line (130, 160 and 180).

We introduce the complete SESTO SENSO 3 lineup, our focusing motors now with encoder in three configurations: for external focusers, for SCT telescopes, and for photo lenses. The encoder means no more recalibration after manual adjustments!

Then we reveal the SATURN HD-20, a brand new mount born from our space industry work! Strain wave motor with belt transmission, dual encoder, weatherproof with ceramic treatment and 19°/sec slew speed. It was originally developed for ourselves, but after the incredible interest we received at the show... we'll see!

And finally we move to the Celestron booth to present the CPC Deluxe HD telescopes powered by PrimaLuceLab! A complete solution for visual, planetary imaging and deep sky astrophotography on an alt-azimuth telescope, no wedge needed. With the ARCO field de-rotator and PLAY software, you can guide and shoot exposures, stack in real time, and enjoy a telescope that does everything while remaining simple to use.

All the information is already on our website!

Hello ! New version 1.9.8 of PLAY 1.9.8 software is here! Download now from our website www.primalucelab.com!

First, we added full support for our brand new SESTO SENSO 3 LS motorized focuser for telephoto lenses. We also added official support for Celestron fork-type mounts. AutoStacking is now faster thanks to better memory management, and we improved Autostacking for more reliable results. We also refined the Deep-Sky enhance, so your preview images look more natural. We made the RGB color correction sliders more precise, the AutoFocus step size is now a parameter you can customize for your specific setup, and you can now personalize the name of each OTA in your configuration.

We also fixed bugs that you helped us find. Thank you to everyone, your feedback makes PLAY better for the whole community!

PrimaLuceLab sta crescendo, e vogliamo fare sempre meglio. Niente remoto. Niente part-time.

Hello ! In this video, we share our vision of automation and remote control. Not from a product perspective, but from a philosophy perspective. Over the last few years, we’ve seen the rise of fully integrated systems that make faster and more accessible than ever. And we truly believe this is a positive evolution for astronomy. But as many and grow in experience, they often start asking for something more: more flexibility, more compatibility, more freedom, more control!
