Founded in 1955 as the service workshop of its parent company, TRAFILERIE CARLO GNUTTI , in just a few months Gnutti Transfer identified its own autonomous vocation in the marketplace: in fact, almost immediately, the company began to construct automatic lathes for the production of fittings and these were soon followed by the production of innovative

transfer machines. THE 1960'S
GNUTTI BEGINS MASS PRODUCTION In short, Quirino Gnutti understood immediately that “teamwork” between the manufacturer and end-users of transfer machines was to become a precious tool for each other's success. Within four to five years, Gnutti Transfer grew from manufacturing just a few machines to the large numbers of mass production: in 1961, the year in which Italy's GNP grew by 8.6%, Gnutti was already delivering hundreds of machines. THE 1970'S
SUCCESSFUL INTUITIONS In the 1970's, as the machines transitioned from pneumatic to hydraulic power, market demand was at its peak and Gnutti Transfer was employing around 300 people. The intuitions of Quirino Gnutti and his collaborators owned their initial success to the ability to build machines that expanded the simultaneous operations of contemporary American “1-2-3” machines to from 3 to 6. THE IMPORTANCE OF INTRODUCING ELECTRONICS Between the 1970's and 1980's, the company stayed ahead of its times and was among the first to apply modern technological solutions, with the important use of electronics, revolutionizing the current concept of transfer machines. Thanks to the continuous technological improvements that increase the performance and reliability of our machines, we have also entered the automotive sector. The first company in the sector to turn to Gnutti Transfer was General Motors; after that, other European manufacturers joined us. THE 1990'S
INTRODUCTION OF THE CONCEPT OF INTEGRATION AND MODULARITY The design and assembly of our new machines are strongly conditioned by the concepts of integration, or the ability to make new programs and accessories compatible with previous machines, and modularity, or the possibility of making them expandable and reconfigurable. For Gnutti Transfer, this philosophy is inevitable and successful, given that, over time, the machines produced in Ospitaletto and their value have proven themselves to be indestructible.

Parte un nuovo IFTS (Istruzione e Formazione Tecnica Superiore): dalla collaborazione tra Fondazione AIB e Gnutti Transfer S.p.A. nasce «Tecniche di industrializzazione del prodotto e del processo»

Un percorso di dodici mesi per introdurre 8 ragazzi nel mondo del lavoro Le aziende sono alla costante ricerca di personale da inserire nei propri organici e molte hanno deciso di muoversi proattivamente per formare ragazzi che possano inserirsi fin da subito nel mondo del lavoro. Per centrare questo obiettivo, il Centro Formazione AIB presenta il nuovo corso di specializzazione IFTS (Istruzione e Formazione Tecnica Superiore) «Tecniche di industrializzazione del prodotto e del processo» sviluppato con un impegno condiviso con Gnutti Transfer S.p.A. di Ospitaletto, nata nel 1955 e specializzata nella produzione di macchine transfer. Il progetto nasce dall'esigenza dell'azienda Gnutti Transfer di cercare, formare e fidelizzare diversi giovani da inserire nei propri reparti. L'Academy consiste in un percorso IFTS della durata di 12 mesi, svolto in apprendistato di primo livello con l'assunzione a tempo pieno (40 ore settimanali) da parte dell'azienda di tutti i candidati all'inizio del corso. Durante il percorso, della durata complessiva di oltre 2mila ore, i ragazzi parteciperanno a 800 ore di formazione, delle quali 200 presso il Centro di formazione AIB (nella sede di Castel Mella) e 600 direttamente all'interno dello stabilimento di Gnutti Transfer a Ospitaletto, oltre a 1.276 ore di lavoro. Sia le 600 ore di formazione «on the job» che le ore di lavoro saranno retribuite (in percentuale), di modo che i ragazzi abbiano una busta paga già dal primo mese di Academy. Al progetto parteciperanno 8 ragazzi, di cui alcuni sono studenti del CF AIB che hanno terminato il quarto anno e ottenuto il Diploma Tecnico; questi saranno seguiti costantemente da tutor sia della Fondazione AIB che dell'azienda, nei momenti di formazione delle competenze in aula e durante la formazione «on the job» all'interno dello stabilimento. Alla fine del percorso, i partecipanti otterranno (previo il superamento dell'esame) il Certificato di Specializzazione Tecnica Superiore, 4° livello europeo EQF e l'azienda si riserva la possibilità di presentare una proposta di lavoro a una parte o a tutti i ragazzi che supereranno la prova finale e si saranno distinti nel corso dell'Academy.
