GER Elettronica has been established as The Leader Company on the production of measuring machines for leathers and economizer for spraying machines. GER Elettronica began its activity in 1975, designing and constructing measuring machines and economizer of varnish Spray Control. At the same time Ger also developed a range of electronic devices aimed at the producers of machines for almost any sector of small and medium automation as electronic brakes and starters for motors. Nowadays our production includes: area and thickness measuring machines, electronic equipments for the industrial automation, machines for tanneries, shoe factory, furniture, leather goods manufacturers, Spray Control varnish economizers, supervision software, braking devices for electric motors, starter for electric motors.

I.GRADING, il sistema di classificazione automatica delle pelli basato sull’Intelligenza Artificiale, è stato uno dei prodotti che ha registrato maggior riscontro durante la recente fiera SIMAC TANNING TECH, a conferma del forte interesse del settore conciario verso l’applicazione dell’AI al controllo qualità e alla classificazione delle pelli.

Il sistema I.GRADING identifica con precisione il tipo di difetto, le sue dimensioni e la sua posizione sulla singola pelle, fornendo criteri di valutazione oggettivi, uniformi e affidabili per la successiva classificazione e valutazione qualitativa. In questo modo, aiuta le concerie ad aumentare l’efficienza dei controlli e a ridurre le differenze legate alla valutazione soggettiva.
I.GRADING, the AI-based automatic hide grading system, was one of the products that received the strongest response at the recent SIMAC TANNING TECH trade fair, confirming the tanning industry’s strong interest in applying AI to quality control and hide classification.

I.GRADING precisely identifies the type of defect, its size and its position on each individual hide, providing objective, consistent and reliable evaluation criteria for subsequent grading and quality assessment.

👉 In this way, it helps tanneries increase the efficiency of their inspections and reduce the variability caused by subjective evaluation.

I primi risultati sono già arrivati e siamo rimasti sorpresi nel constatare la quantità di aziende che ha già in corso progetti di AI in produzione.

I.COLOR: The system for classifying hides according to colour shade.

Variations in shade can easily occur within the same batch.
I.COLOR automatically scans the hides and divides them into homogeneous groups (from 2 to 10 shades), using a self-learning process based on samples from the batch or by calling up previously saved masters.
An intelligent system that optimises selection, eliminates the subjectivity of human judgement and ensures a consistent standard of quality.
