REVA BF: a matter of decibel.

Noise is an annoying, issue especially when it continues overtime Noise is everywhere: road traffic, airplanes or simply loud neighbourgs which disturb our privacy, our sleep or concentration.

There are special glass panels providing sound barrier and also some special interlayers, some promising and some effective.
RCN has never considered this matter until we found out that REVA BF, our laminating interlayer, that has proved to have great transparency and adhesion (120N/cm2), high resistance to wet and humidity, as well as under severe weather conditions, has a new property.

A new detail is going to add to the above ones. We did not expect such significant values of the acoustic isolation with 2x0.76mm REVA BF, tests carried out by a Portuguese Institute and whose table results we are happy to share.

Whether specialized solutions are required, depends entirely on the context.

Con Gimav a Fiera Milano per Vitrum 2027

Il giorno 11.06 si è svolta la site-visit di Gimav presso presso Fiera Milano che ospiterà i padiglioni di Vitrum. Potrebbe sembrare una scelta prematura poiché Vitrum si svolgerà a novembre 2027, invece si è rivelata molto interessante per poter sviluppare al meglio il layout degli spazi e accontentare i partecipanti.

Vitrum si sta preparando per tornare ad essere un polo di attrazione internazionale per il comparto del vetro piano e cavo e sta mettendo in campo tante iniziative importanti, quindi rimanete sintonizzati per scoprire tutte le offerte.

Nella serata, i soci Gimav si sono concessi un momento di svago con una cena conviviale per scambiare impressioni, idee e confrontarsi su temi di attualità in un ambiente rilassato con piatti gustosi accompagnati….. da poco alcol perché poi si guida!

2026: it is Glasstec year

The glass community will gather at Glasstec, 20-23 October, Dusseldorf Exhibition Center, Germany.
“We are Glass”, this simple but catchy slogan of Glasstec reminds all of us this exhibition plays a key role in the glass industry.

Germany has historically been one of the European pillars of the glass industry.especially in sectors having high technological value. In the last few years, Germany, as many other European countries, has experienced high energy costs, building crisis, industrial slowdown and Eastern competition, but it remains highly focused on innovations and technology.

That’s why Glasstec keeps being “The World's Leading Trade Fair for the Glass Industry”, (source from Glasstec website, https://www.glasstec-online.com) admist glass art, decarbonization, digital technology and circular economy.

RCN is working to prepare its participation with interesting news and proposals for innovative machines at high performance. It is a corporate project, not just a matter of being there. During the four days exhibition, the aim is to show concrete innovations, carry out demonstrations, receive customers and potential ones, work that cannot be done without adequate preparation of both technical and commercial team.

When the lights of the show turns on, the coordination has been started months earlier to offer as much as we can in matter of care and attention by putting the customers’ needs at the centre of all our strategies.

E’ GIMAV e ci piace.

Oggi, vogliamo mettere al centro dell’attenzione GIMAV, l’Associazione Italiana Fornitori Macchine ed Accessori per la Lavorazione del Vetro.

La nuova governance ha aperto una fase orientata allo sviluppo e al miglioramento delle attività associative che si traduce, tra le altre cose, in un programma di missioni imprenditoriali la cui prima esperienza in Marocco si è conclusa da poco.

Al di là della soddisfazione e delle criticità di un primo evento, che comunque aiutano le programmazioni future, il fatto più importante è stata la condivisione di due giorni di networking, ove le aziende partecipanti hanno avuto la possibilità di conoscersi meglio e confrontarsi sulle problematiche di un comparto industriale molto importante che risente comunque della situazione geopolitica attuale.

In tale contesto, il lavoro di Gimav, che mira a un’associazione più a misura delle esigenze dei soci, si sta rivelando fondamentale con offerte formative ad alto contenuto, alternate a momenti di vita associativa più dinamica, dove i soci non sono solo nomi e loghi ma “complici” e parti attive.

Programma Vetro®️ mette a disposizione un software online professionale sviluppato dagli operatori di settore e destinato a tutte le vetrerie che hanno bisogno di un sistema rapido per i calcoli negli spessori del vetro, in particolare nel settore edilizio, e verificare le stratifiche corrette in base alle normative vigenti in materia di vetro di sicurezza.

E’ utile a progettisti, serramentisti, vetrerie, architetti e tecnici per verificare rapidamente quale tipo di vetro utilizzare in applicazioni come parapetti, calpestabili, coperture, ecc., secondo le normative tecniche.

Il servizio però si occupa anche di affiancare i produttori per la caratterizzazione dei materiali, come ad esempio REVA BF, l’intercalare di laminazione di RCN che, da oggi, potete trovare nell’elenco dei partners sul sito di programma vetro, unitamente alle specifiche del prodotto.

Olin srl, our partner in Romania, renews its trust by choosing one LIA -laminating integrated automatism.

Automatic, semi-automatic and manual: three possibilities of laminating machines, in different sizes or customized, among which customers can choose.

That’s what decided Olin srl, our partner in Romenia. Located in Brasov and processing special glass and projects in addition to insulating glass.

LIA 4+2, composed of 4 shelves + 2 additional ones in the top storage unit, active size of 2500x5000mm, will replace the old Lammy System 2, 2500x5000mm, manual laminating machine the customer bought in 2016 and still in good conditions.

The semi-automatic LIA has been delivered and install with success and will allow faster service, reduced labor and better organization of the production.

Maroc entre développement et défis structurels encore ouverts.

Si l’on dit Maroc, on pense à un pays maqnifique marqué par un grand charme historique et culturel.
Mais le Maroc est bien plus que ça. C’est un pays en pleine croissance, qui marche vite, malgré la persistance de plusieurs difficultés sociales et économiques.

Le projet d’entreprise terminé, il est temps de faire le point des deux jours d’activité.

Le voyage a été bien coordonné grâce aux efforces de Gimav qui a fait de ce premier projet une réalité.

Nous avons visité des entreprises très bien equippées et bien structurées, sociétés qui nous ont ouvert les portes à l’industrie du verre locale, nous permettant des comprendre les exigences.

La perception qualité/offre est encore loin de standards auxquels nous sommes habitués, mais, en tout cas, l’expérience s’avère positive et notre société souhaite batîr des relations commerciales fondées sur l’écoute et la confiance mutuelle.

Nous voulons remercier le Consul Général d’Italie Francesco Capecchi, les institutions italiennes et marocaines pour l’accueil et le soutien.

Small but complete, CT80 is automatic. This oven has motorized transfer of the basket, from dome to the loading/unloading position and motorized basket lifting/immersion system.
