Short Wave Infrared Lamps (IRSW) are widely used in industrial processes where fast and precise heating is required, such as thermoforming, packaging and printing applications.

A key aspect to consider is the inrush current: during switch-on, short wave IR lamps can draw a peak current significantly higher than the nominal value.

In single-phase (1PH) applications, selecting the correct power controller and firing mode is essential to:

✔ ensure stable and uniform heating
