👉At Soluzioni Ingegneria, we utilize an objective approach to improve vehicle design.
Reliable digital twin of vehicles and tyres, operating in different conditions of wear, inflating pressure and rolling surfaces, coupled with our manoeuvre-based scenarios library, empower the vehicle design process, reducing the number of prototypes.
Specific Performance Indices are set for Comfort, Rideability and Stability. Those indices are collected by virtual testing first, and drive the engineering through all the vehicle design phases. Virtual interactions are fast and cheap and key-design variables are tuned to satisfy the target requirements.
When ready, only the most promising solutions are prototyped and finally tested.
The physical tests are executed very similarly to the virtual ones. Qualified trained testing engineers and data analysts collect reproducible and repeatable measurements data. Same Performance Indices are computed then. Subjective assessments still is processed to improve more and the more the correlation to objective target Performance Indices.
