🇬🇧 - Yesterday, October 11th, Italy observed the National Day for Victims of Occupational Accidents.

This observance draws attention to an issue that cannot be confined to a single day: workplace safety requires prevention, training, responsibility and informed choices every day.

Behind every accident are consequences that affect individuals, families and entire communities. Remembering the victims also means continuing to work so that risks are identified, assessed and managed before they result in irreversible consequences.

At BLS, we believe that a strong safety culture is built through knowledge, the correct selection of protective equipment and the training of those who use it.

Remembering matters. Prevention matters every day.

🇮🇹 - Ieri, 11 ottobre, in italia si è celebrata la Giornata Nazionale per le Vittime degli Incidenti sul Lavoro.

Una ricorrenza che richiama l’attenzione su un tema che non può essere confinato a una sola giornata: la sicurezza sul lavoro richiede prevenzione, formazione, responsabilità e scelte consapevoli ogni giorno.

Dietro ogni incidente ci sono conseguenze che riguardano persone, famiglie e intere comunità. Per questo ricordare le vittime significa anche continuare a lavorare perché i rischi vengano riconosciuti, valutati e gestiti prima che si trasformino in eventi irreversibili.

In BLS crediamo che la cultura della sicurezza si costruisca attraverso la conoscenza, la corretta selezione dei dispositivi di protezione e la formazione di chi li utilizza.

Ricordare è importante. Prevenire lo è ogni giorno.

Two days of meetings, discussions and insights with professionals who work every day to make safety increasingly concrete, effective and integrated into company processes.

Thank you to everyone who visited BLS’ stand and to the Safety Expo organisation for once again creating such an important opportunity for dialogue across the industry.

A special thanks also for the space dedicated to the session on IoT and innovation applied to safety, which involved BLS, Narvalo and NDF and gave us the opportunity to share a common vision: using technology, data and design to develop increasingly advanced solutions that improve protection, comfort and the real-world use of protective devices.

We leave the event with new ideas, new questions and many valuable conversations that will help us continue working to strengthen the culture of prevention and respiratory protection.

🇬🇧 - In welding, simultaneously protecting the respiratory system, eyes and face can be challenging when different types of PPE interfere with each other or are uncomfortable to use together.

To address this need, BLS introduces WF28, the new welding helmet designed to be used exclusively in combination with the BLS 2700next powered air-purifying respirator.

The system has been developed to provide a high level of protection without compromising comfort, with airflow directed towards the visor to prevent fogging, an adjustable headgear system, and components designed for prolonged use.
