Company "Maggi Engineering" are a wood-working-machinery producer in Certaldo (Florence- Italy): high-quality machines as well as an accurate, reliable after-sale service have always been marks of distinction of this thriving concern. "Maggi Engineering" were first established in 1963, when Maggi Lionello started producing the first line of power feeders called "STEFF", which has gradually become the most well-known all over the world, and still holds the supremacy among other producers. By the early 70's company "Maggi Engineering" have set in the radial-saw business, engineering and producing their own machines characterized by exceptional solidity and high-performance. In the 1976 "Maggi Engineering" changed its premises, moving from the small office in "Via Garibaldi", down town Certaldo, (500 square metres) to a bigger newly-built head-office in "Via delle Regioni" in the neighbourhood of Certaldo (3,000 square metres). In the 1983 the premises were enlarged up to a total extension of 5,000 square metres and became the permanent seat, where now 60 people work. In 1991 the Company changed its name and internal organization: Previous "Maggi costruzioni meccaniche" became "Maggi-Engineering"; new members such as: Mr. Mauro Landi , now in charge as the chairman of the boards of directors, Mrs. Stefano Maggi and Mrs.Stefania Maggi, joined Maggi Lionello and started collaborating with him in the management. In the 90's "Maggi Engineering" have started projecting and developing their own line of multiple boring machines, which has been giving an important boost to the company trade. Over the last 3 years the company have strongly invested on technical research so as to improve quality and increase competitiveness of their products, which now take a prominent position among other mid-high quality wood-working machineries.
