A powerful week of racing in Plovdiv. 💙

At the 2026 World Rowing Cup II, Filippi boats won 47 medals out of 51:🥇15 gold,🥈18 silver and🥉14 bronze medals.

Seeing the race course filled with so many Filippi boats is always a special feeling for us. More than the numbers themselves, this result reflects the trust that athletes, coaches and federations continue to place in our work, race after race, season after season.

Every international regatta has its own story, its own field of competitors and its own challenges. This time, we are simply proud to have supported so many crews on their way to the podium.

Thank you to everyone who chose to race with Filippi in Plovdiv.
Can’t wait to see the action in Lucerne for the third World Cup!

Just a few metres away from a perfect golden sweep ✨

In the Men’s Single Sculls final at the 2026 World Rowing Cup II in Plovdiv, Jacob Plihal 🇺🇸 delivered one of the most exciting finishes of the day. Racing in a Filippi boat, he accelerated in the final 500 metres, closed the gap to his compatriot and pushed the race into a head-to-head sprint, missing gold by the smallest of margins.

And that was the only gold medal of the day not won in a Filippi boat.

Across 14 major A Finals, Filippi boats won 🥇13 gold medals, 🥈14 silver medals and 🥉12 bronze medals.

Gold medals came with crews from: USA 🇺🇸, Serbia 🇷🇸, New Zealand 🇳🇿, Italy 🇮🇹, Croatia 🇭🇷, China 🇨🇳 and Uzbekistan 🇺🇿.

A huge congratulations to all athletes, coaches and federations who brought Filippi boats to the podium once again.

61 out of 71 Filippi boats will be competing for a place on the podium tomorrow in the second World Cup stage in Plovdiv🇧🇬, Bulgaria, where, objectively speaking, some major international rowing nations are not present.

Late this morning, several finals were contested, with Filippi boats securing a double gold medal: one for Uzbekistan🇺🇿 in the PR2 Mixed Double Sculls and another in the Men’s Lightweight Double Sculls.

World Rowing Cup I 2026 — Seville, Spain (29–31 May) 🇪🇸
Hot conditions, a big return to Seville — and a huge weekend for the Filippi fleet.

From the very first strokes: 28 wins in 38 heats on Day 1, with the international fleet 62% Filippi-built.
By the end of Day 2: 46 Filippi boats qualified for the A Finals, including all-Filippi start lines in M2x and W2-.

Final tally: 32 medals out of 49 (65%) 💥

The first-ever world-level victory of the Australian Women’s Eight in a Filippi Performance F42 is already part of rowing history. Congratulations to Samy Morton (who won the 2025 Boat Race with Cambridge in the same boat) and her teammates, who finished ahead of the reigning Dutch World Champions and the Romanian Olympic Champions.
Australia’s triumph was one of the eight gold medals won by Filippi boats in Seville🇪🇸 at the opening World Cup regatta. The tally was boosted by victories🥇from Lauren Henry 🇬🇧 (W1x), New Zealand (M2-), Czech Republic 🇨🇿 (W2-), Romania 🇷🇴 (W2x), Netherlands 🇳🇱 (M2x and W4-), and Portugal 🇵🇹 (LM1x).
The final total of 30 medals was completed by 12 silver 🥈medals and 10 bronze🥉medals.
Now the bow turns toward Plovdiv, where the second World Cup round will take place in less than two weeks.❤️

46 Filippiboats secured a place today in the “A” Final in Seville🇪🇸 at the end of day 2 of 1st leg of World Cup. Tomorrow both in M2x and W2- only Filippi at the start🏁.
