📍 Luino, May 29–30, 2025 – The legendary Club5 unites to Strengthen Alpine Skiing Safety ⛷️.
World Cup organizers and FIS officials gathered on Lake Maggiore to share expertise and drive progress, bringing together iconic Alpine Ski World Cup races like Kitzbühel, Schladming, Val Gardena, St. Moritz and more, met at Palazzo Verbania for a two-day technical summit focused on one of the sport’s most critical topics: safety.

Hosted by SPM S.p.A. Società Benefit, the event welcomed FIS race directors from both men’s and women’s circuits, alongside slope managers from World Cup venues, creating a valuable platform for sharing experiences, know-how, and innovation to further elevate safety standards in Alpine skiing competitions.

Beatrice Berutti, Head of Sport at SPM, said:
“Twenty-four years ago, SPM hosted the first ski slope safety congress right here at Palazzo Verbania. Welcoming this new meeting today is a great honor for us. Safety is not only close to our hearts – it’s a concrete commitment to the future of our sport.”

Our commitment to a more sustainable future! 🌱✨

Rather of leaving broken poles on the slope, collect them and drop them off at SPM. Here, they will be disassembled, reduced to fragments and the plastic will be reused to create new poles or other components, thus giving materials a second life! ♻️

🌱Every little think counts and can make a difference! And recycling is one of the keys to reducing pollution and preserving our planet. ✨
