🔬 Not every medical tube is designed to stay constant. Some applications require the opposite: controlled variation, precise transitions, and geometry that changes exactly where and how it should.
That is where taper tubing and bump tubing become critical.

⚙️ At Tecno System S.r.l., we develop medical extrusion lines engineered to manage these demanding geometries with stability, repeatability, and precise dimensional control by Zumbach Electronic.

🎥 The video below shows one of our medical micro extrusion lines producing precision taper/bump tubing with smooth and controlled diameter transitions.

⚡TECNO SYSTEM - Extruders, extrusion lines and tools.

In medical extrusion, performance is not about a single component. It is about how the entire line works together.

This micro-extrusion line for tubing filled with barium sulfate (BaSO₄) shows how process control ensures stability, precision, and repeatability.

From material handling to extrusion, calibration, and haul-off, every step is optimized to achieve:
• consistent melt flow
• precise geometry
• uniform BaSO₄ distribution for reliable radiopacity

We process TPU across a wide hardness range, from very soft (low Shore A) to rigid grades (Shore D), maintaining full control of the final product.

Zumbach Electronic Inline measurement systems support real-time control of diameter, wall thickness, and ovality, while proper material conditioning ensures process stability.
