Agriculture research directorate based in Duhok, it has established in the mid of 20th century, according to the geography and weather conditions it has four stations based in Zaxo, Kavlasn, Husainiya and Malta with 1330 donums of arable lands distributed in different geographical areas of Duhok governorate, the directorate is under the Ministry of Agriculture and water resources in KRI, regardles

s of administration department, however, it has technical departments, department of field crops, department of Horticulture, department of soil, department of plant protection and machinery. The main task of our departments is to find innovative solution regarding any agriculture issues that has a direct relationship with our departments.
