Nowadays, OEI has retained dealership only from sele
cted companies like, M/s. Cummins Generator Technology Ltd (The largest manufacturer of Alternators in India), M/s. AVK Ltd. (HT Generators), M/s. Crompton Greaves Ltd and M/s. Meccalte India Pvt. Ltd. (Italian Company). OEI reached to such level that today OEI is being enquired by many multinationals for their authorized dealership. But as a policy decision, in order to render more than expected services to own customers, OEI restricted the dealerships. Over the span of twenty years, OEI achieved thorough knowledge in Electrical Rotating Machines and reached a level of rebuilding up to 20 MW, 11 kV machines, of any make and of any design. OEI has established an effective Quality Assurance System. Every machine under rebuild is tested at three stages. FIR, the first stage testing is done to understand the original design parameters of machine in order to redesign through reverse engineering and to report customer about their machine. There are stages of In-Process Testing, and Incoming Material Testing confirms the Quality Assurance. And The Final Testing inclusive of No Load/ Partial Load Trials assures the product quality. It is proud to OEI that not a single failure occurs in this tenure of 20 years. Many of our rebuild HT motors are working continuously since last 10-12 years, without any problems.
