This CPD webinar examines the common causes of foundation failure and aims to educate the specifier in the methods of stabilising structures using innovative Helifix masonry repair and strengthening methods in conjunction with established helical micro-piling techniques.

Piled Foundation System:

Micro-piled foundations for new build, modular or temporary structures...

Helifix Dixie hollow pipe section piles are simply screwed vertically into the ground until they reach the load bearing strata and then topped with an engineered flat plate. This plate is then either cast into reinforced concrete pile caps / ground beams, for traditional new build construction, or connected directly to the base of modular or temporary structures. Its a great repair methodology for carrying out subsidence related repairs, particularly in congested areas where large equipment cannot be brought to the site. Also it is a very peaceful and non-vibrating, non-hammering activity which does not disturb in the neighbourhood.
