AAC blocks or Autoclaved Aerated Concrete blocks are fast replacing traditional bricks in the construction industry. AAC is a foam concrete material that is up to three times more lightweight than regular bricks, and hence, is easy to handle and use too.
It might intrigue you to know that AACs are not new entrants in the field. This material was invented sometime during the 1920s. However, its popularity has shot up only in the last decade or so. If you are in the process of constructing your house, then definitely consider AAC blocks instead of red bricks.
