Meet Vignesh Sekar, Founding Principal Architect of STO.M.P — Studio for Modernism & Practical Aesthetics.

Reimagining what modernism owes to its climate.

Since founding STO.M.P in 2016, Vignesh has built a practice around a simple yet demanding belief: modernism only works when it responds to where it stands.

Rooted in contextual design, material intelligence and craft-driven detailing, his Madurai-based practice, with an extended presence in Kuwait, has earned recognition across Wallpaper*, ArchDaily, and Habitus Living.

His portfolio spans residential, hospitality, commercial and public infrastructure, including an ongoing collaboration with Indian Railways to reimagine three South Indian railway stations.
