🌱 Going Green with Our Staff, Bal Vikas + School Students and Other Environment-Conscious Citizens 🌱

On the occasion of World Environment Day (5th June), we came together for a plantation drive in New Shimla, reaffirming our shared commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability.

Adding to the celebrations, the students and teachers of Dr. Vijay Memorial Senior Secondary School, Dharampur (Mandi), actively participated by taking an oath to protect the environment, spreading awareness through a slogan march in the local community, organizing a science quiz and conducting a cleanliness drive in the surrounding areas.

It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and collective effort of everyone involved. Every sapling planted and every awareness initiative undertaken today is a meaningful step toward a greener, healthier and more sustainable future.

As part of the ongoing Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the nationwide Rath Yatra (Sri Sathya Sai Prema Pravahini) reached the Dharampur region on 11th May, 2026 where it was welcomed with immense devotion, local traditions and heartfelt enthusiasm by devotees and residents.
In the evening, a spiritually uplifting Bhajan Sandhya was organized, bringing together devotees, volunteers and staff members in an atmosphere of unity and reverence. The gathering resonated with melodious and soulful bhajans dedicated to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Adding to the spiritual fervour of the occasion, the students of Dr. Vijay Memorial Senior Secondary School presented a cultural programme along with a meaningful play depicting the life and teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Following the devotional programme, dinner (Prasadam) was lovingly served to all devotees.
Continuing the spirit of selfless service, Sai Eternal Foundation successfully organized FREE Medical Camp on 12th May, 2026 at Dharampur, District Mandi. The camp received an overwhelming response with more than 500 people.
A team of specialist doctors rendered healthcare services in various departments including General Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dental Care and General Health Check-ups.
Free medicines were distributed to the patients and the Foundation also announced free spectacles for individuals suffering from eye-related ailments. In addition, a community lunch (Bhandara) was organized for the beneficiaries of the medical camp as well as the volunteers who actively contributed to the successful conduct of the event.
Through such initiatives, Sai Eternal Foundation aims to ensure that quality healthcare services reach the needy and underprivileged sections of society while also spreading awareness regarding health and wellness.

Empowering Young Voices | Inter-School Declamation Competition 2026

Sai Eternal Foundation successfully organized an Inter-School Declamation (Speech) Competition on 26 April 2026 at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Himrashmi Parisar, Vikas Nagar, Shimla. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students in both categories: Category-1 (Classes 9th–10th) and Category-2 (Classes 11th–12th), representing 14 schools.

The competition showcased remarkable confidence, clarity of thought and powerful expression, reflecting the immense potential of our young minds.

Results – Class 9th–10th Category:
1st – Aaniya Sharma (Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Himrashmi Parisar)
2nd – Yajas Thakur (Shimla Public School)
3rd – Mahika Sharma (DAV Public School, New Shimla)

Results – Class 11th–12th Category:
1st – Adaa Panta (Convent of Jesus and Mary School)
2nd – Ananya Thakur (Loreto Convent, Tara Hall)
3rd – Arpita (Dr. Vijay Memorial Sr. Sec. School, Dharampur)

Cash prizes were also awarded to the winners, with Rs. 11,000 for 1st place, Rs. 8,100 for 2nd place and Rs. 5,100 for 3rd place.

FREE EDUCATION FOR MERITORIOUS STUDENTS

It is proposed to admit eligible students against a very limited number of vacant seats in Class XI and Class XII for the Academic Session 2026–27 at Dr. Vijay Memorial Senior Secondary School, Dharampur, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.

Students seeking admission to Class XI must produce their Class X Board Examination Result. Students seeking admission to Class XII must produce their Class X and Class XI Results. In addition, all applicants must submit a valid Family Income Certificate showing that the total annual income of the family from all sources does not exceed Rs. 4,25,000/- (Four Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Rupees).

The likely number of seats in Class XI is up to 9 and in Class XII is up to 13, subject to availability and may be lower.

Admission shall be granted to a very limited number of students, largely based on their academic achievements and performance in the personal interview, for filling the vacant seats. The selected students shall be provided completely free education, including hostel facility, uniforms, books, food arrangements and other necessary facilities. No fee or fund of any kind shall be charged from the parents/guardians of the students or from any external agency.

All interested students along with their parent(s)/guardian(s) are required to report on 15th May, 2026 at : 9 A.M. at the School premises at Dharampur, along with the following documents:

1. Aadhaar Card
2. Original and one self-attested copy of the final report card/result of the relevant class(es) recently appeared/passed (as mentioned above)
3. Copy of a valid Family Income Certificate, issued not earlier than three months from the date of reporting/admission process

Under the aegis of Sai Eternal Foundation, an Entrance Examination is being organized by Himalayan Centre for Human Resource Development, Dharmapur, District Mandi for admission in Class 9 for the Academic Session 2026-27 in ‘’Dr. Vijay Memorial Senior Secondary School‘’, Dharampur, Distt. Mandi, Himachal Pradesh in Hilly Tribal Areas on Sunday: 3rd May, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Students, who have passed Class 8 and who belong to families with lower income, with total annual income of the family from all sources not exceeding more than Rs. 4,25,000 (Four Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Rupees) will be eligible.
Admission in Class 9 will be given to a limited number of boys and girls on qualifying Entrance Examination on merit basis. However, certain preference will be given to students from lower income groups and from underprivileged sections of society like SC, ST & OBC. The selected students will be provided completely free education which includes hostel facility, uniforms, books, food arrangement, etc. No kind of Fees or Funds are charged from the parents of students or any external agency.
