er and provide better service. This state-of-the-art factory is the latest in the row of six manufacturing facilities worldwide dedicated to pre-engineered steel buildings (PEB). Expansion of Zamil Steel Industries into the Indian peninsula adds to the global set of manufacturing facilities for better serving the Indian market and neighboring countries. The Pune facility is on a total area of 87,000 square meters is capable of producing complete pre-engineered buildings with the production capacity of 60,000 MT per annum. The facility is already producing and supplying high-end pre-engineered steel buildings to various customers in all over India. Since the commercial production started in February 2008, Zamil Steel India has supplied more than 830 projects, i.e. 1058 buildings, with an approximate area of 4 million M2 of complete PEB building including its’ related accessories. In its all facilities around the world, Zamil Steel manufactures more than 500,000 tons of fabricated steel per annum of low rise and high rise steel buildings and structures for diverse industrial, commercial, agriculture, aviation, entertainment and military applications and support of infrastructure and development projects. Zamil Steel products are sold in more than 90 countries through an international network of dedicated sales and representative offices, certified builders, and distributors. Zamil Steel’s main factories are based in India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Vietnam and United Arab Emirates. More than 600 engineers are employed in its engineering departments in Chennai, Cochin & Pune, besides its global engineering networks in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Vietnam.
